Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our CE Smith tie-down bracket for boat trailers in aluminum. Now folks, this is a bolt-on application. So this will create a fixed-point tie-down onto your trailer, and you would simply drill a couple holes, bolt it in place. And then now you have a nice 7/8-inch wide hole here that you can put a hook in, maybe some rope around or something of that nature to tie down stuff, whether it's gonna be bolted on the wall, the frame, the floor. There is no mounting hardware included.
It does have what's considered a 30-degree mounting angle. So it can accommodate most tie-down applications. So whenever the hook's in there, it's gonna have plenty of room to hold it and not let go. It is constructed of aluminum, so it's long-lasting, corrosion-resistant. Some quick dimensions, overall, I got about 5 1/4, 3/8 inches thick, and on the width, I got right at three inches.
And as I mentioned before, about 7/8 inches on that main hole. These two holes down here are right at about, oh, I'd say 9/16 of an inch each. (metal thumping) Well, folks, that will wrap it up for our bolt-on CE Smith tie-down bracket for boat trailers in aluminum. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Great product
